French School Network

The French School Network:

  • Originally the French government wanted to help the French citizens abroad by offering to their children the possibility to pursue their education in French (Indirect incentive to favor expatriation).
  • Then the French Government made a treaty with the greeting country by inviting the local students to their French schools .The treaty made clear that 20% to the studying time had to be dedicated to learn the foreign language and social studies.
  • Now 495 French schools are being operated all around the world with 342,000 Students. (46 in the US greeting about 33,000 students.)
